WordPress Tutorials – Posts – How to Create and Edit Posts
How to publish a new post:
Log in to your WordPress admin panel: Enter yourdomain.com/wp-admin in your browser’s address bar (replace yourdomain.com with your website domain).
Access the post editing page: In the left-hand menu, click “Posts” > “Add Post”.
Add a title and content: In the editor, enter the post title (Add title), and then begin writing the post content. WordPress uses a block editor, allowing you to add various blocks such as paragraphs, images, and videos by clicking the “+” button.
Setting Categories and Tags: In the right sidebar, you can select article categories and add tags to help readers find your articles more easily.
Inserting Images: Move your cursor to the desired location and click the “Insert Media” button below the title. The page will redirect to your media library. Click the “Upload File” button in the upper left corner to upload an image from your computer. Alternatively, select an image from your media library and click the “Insert Image” button in the lower right corner of the image library. The image will then be inserted.
Previewing and Publishing: Before publishing, you can click the “Preview” button to view the final result of your article. After confirming everything is correct, click the “Publish” button to publicly publish the article.
